At work, in education, in business, and at home, computers are omnipresent today. Computers increase productivity, connect people, and open up new opportunities. For students, working professionals, homemakers, as well as children, quality computer education and training are necessary. |
 |
Even in the largest cities in India, quality of computer education is very low. Private institutes suffer from poor faculty, canned low-quality course materials, obsolete syllabi, high cost, marginal career relevance, and market anonymity. Accredited colleges that offer computer science degrees and diplomas also suffer from similar problems. In spite of mushrooming of training institutes in select areas, few candidates passing their courses get real knowledge or real jobs.
Within India, there is a tremendous “digital divide” between a few places like Bangalore and the rest. Quality computer institutes are concentrated only in a handful of cities. While India is seen as an IT Super Power by the rest of the world, it is ironic that students and teachers in 90% of India understand precious little about IT. They do not know the larger picture, opportunities available to them, job potential, how to prepare, etc. |

SCC is Srishti's sincere attempt to make consistently high quality, market-relevant computer education and hands-on training locally available. SCC is primarily intended for members of Srishti families. |

There are many privately operated computer centers, so it is important to understand SCC's uniqueness. |

SCC's aim is not just maximizing profits. While maintaining healthy finances, all our programs are offered as inexpensively as possible. We do not price according to demand, like what most of the other IT institutes do. We price according to our costs, which we will continuously control through structure, discipline and innovation, without compromising on program quality. |
SCC programs are predominantly designed for volume. We do not restrict to offering programs in any particular area. We view computer science as a dynamic and versatile discipline. We identify diverse programs that have widespread utility, generate high demand for the same, and offer them. Our internal processes will be geared towards handling volumes. |
SCC continually strives to be a path-breaker. We are not a run-of-the-mill computer institute that blindly follows market trends. We always keep a deep understanding of computer science, its local utility, and the global trends. We have the courage to make investments into areas that may not be known to be hot at present, but have the potential to be tremendously useful in future. |
Our faculty assimilates the Srishti service philosophy. We have a long-term outlook in forming SCC faculty base. In addition to teaching, SCC faculty members use some part of their time to do live projects through SCC. This keeps their skills up-to-date.

SCC Kakinada is the first of 1000 SCCs planned. Kakinada has dozens of colleges and schools, and tens of thousands of students; but it has relatively very few quality computer institutes. There is also a sizeable population of
|
small business owners, government and private employees, agriculturists, and homemakers, which can benefit from SCC.
SCC-K offers excellent short-term, medium-term and long-term courses to persons of diverse backgrounds, and guides them. It also offers live software projects, and provides robust computing and Internet facilities |
